Easy & Healthy Chocolate Pudding

This chocolate pudding is made with unsweetened soy yogurt and honey for a wholesome dairy-free twist on the classic.

This recipe is incredibly easy to prepare, and, because it is made with soy yogurt instead of the traditional cream and eggs, it is healthy, too! Perfect for a lunchbox treat or an afterschool snack, this is a dessert that both you and your children can feel good about.

Serves 2

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Cook Time: 0 minute

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups plain, unsweetened dairy-free soy yogurt
  • 1/3 cup cocoa powder, plus more for dusting
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • dairy-free creme fraiche, for garnishing (optional, see recipe below)

Preparation:

1. In a small bowl, combine the soy yogurt, cocoa powder and honey, stirring until well combined. Portion into two small dessert dishes and serve, dusting with cocoa powder and garnishing with a tablespoon of creme fraiche (see below) if desired.

Easy & Quick Creme Fraiche: combine two tablespoons dairy-free sour cream with 1 teaspoon honey or maple syrup, mixing to combine. Use to garnish soups or desserts for a tiny and tasty finishing touch.
