This sorbet recipe is so simple to make, and it's so much healthier than ice cream! Feel free to serve with walnuts or dairy-free dark chocolate for extra flavor and flair!

Ingredients:
- 1 cup white granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup lemon juice
- 1 1/2 cup water
- 1 1/4 cup mashed banana
- pinch of salt
Preparation:
1. In a small saucepan over medium-high heat, bring the sugar, lemon juice and water to a boil, stirring well to dissolve the sugar. Remove from heat and let the syrup cool completely.
2. In a blender, process the syrup with the mashed banana and salt until smooth. Spread in a shallow baking dish and freeze for 2-4 hours, or until set. Remove from the freezer and process in the blender until creamy. Return to the freezer for 1-2 hours or until desired consistency. Serve cold.
