Easy to make, tasty to eat, this healthy homemade cereal is a great start to any dairy-free day.

- 2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
- ½ cup rye flakes
- ¾ cups raisins
- ½ cup dried berries, such as blueberries or cranberries
- ½ cup dried date pieces
- ½ cup slivered almonds
- 1/3 cup raw unsalted sunflower seeds
- ¼ cup toasted wheat germ
- 3 T. flax seed
1. Mix all of the ingredients together in a medium to large bowl. To serve, portion the muesli into individual bowls with soy yogurt or a dairy-free milk alternative along with fresh fruit and honey, agave nectar or maple syrup to taste. Muesli will keep in an airtight container for up to 2 months.
