- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 T. almond meal or other finely ground nuts
- ½ t. salt
- 1 ½ sticks soy margarine or other dairy-free margarine, cut into pieces
- 3 T. ice water
- 1 T. cold maple syrup
- 1 T. cold soymilk
1. In a food processor, combine the flour, almond meal, and salt. Add the soy margarine and process until mixture resembles fine crumbs. Gradually add the remaining ingredients with the machine still running, and process until dough just holds together. Shape the dough into a disk, wrap in plastic wrap and chill for 1 hour to over night before using.
