Dairy-Free Cheese Spread

This easy-to-make dairy-free cheese spread is a healthy, savory treat that's great for sandwiches, crackers, or fresh veggies.

Easy to make, healthy and so tasty, this recipe can be whipped up in just moments and it's perfect for sandwiches as well as with crackers for a healthy, savory snack. For more lactose-free cheese recipes, check out my Basic Dairy-Free Cheese Recipes.

Makes about 1 1/2 cups

Prep Time: 5 minutes

Ingredients:

  • 2 15-ounce cans of garbanzo beans, drained and rinsed
  • ¼ cup and 1 T. tahini
  • 2 T. lemon juice
  • 1 T. olive oil
  • 2/3 cup nutritional yeast
  • 1 t. salt, plus more to taste

Preparation:

1. Place all ingredients in a blender or food processor and process until smooth. Add more salt to taste and serve cold or at room temperature.
