This irish soda scones recipe is one of my favorite vegan scones recipe, prepared with the delicious combination of chocolate and orange.
Makes 8 large scones or 12 regular scones

Cook Time: 35 minutes
Total Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients:
- 3 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup white granulated sugar, plus more for sprinkling
- 2 T. grated orange peel
- 1 T. baking powder
- 1 t. baking soda
- 1/4 t. salt
- 3 T. soy mayonnaise
- 2 T. orange juice
- 1 1/2 cups water
- 2 clementines, peeled and separated into sections
- 1/2 cup coarsely chopped dairy-free dark chocolate
- Coarse salt or Hawaiian sea salt, for sprinkling
Preparation:
1. Preheat the oven to 325 F. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
